Lawson is FIVE!

Lawson turned five Friday, February 10th, 2012. We had so much fun celebrating his big milestone! He didn't have school on his actual birthday, so we celebrated at school a day early with cupcakes and his friends sang to him in both Chinese and English:

On his birthday we started the day off with a trip to the bike shop where the best part was riding the bicycles around the store! The second best part was leaving with a new bike!

We then headed to Enchanted Castle in Lombard, IL for some inside miniature golf, bumper cars, pizza and games. Lawson dropped the acorn in the jackpot hole in this game and won 250 tickets, which was enough for a plastic football game and three pieces of candy!

On Sunday, Lawson had his friend party at Jump Zone in Niles. He decided he wanted his party there months in advance and had a great time with about 25 of his friends:

A couple weeks before his birthday (and after all the birthday party invites were sent out for his party), Lawson said that he wanted his party at home this year, so we decided to have another party for family at our house! Nana came from Colorado and we had so much fun.

He never tires of cupcakes, especially when they are made by his Aunt Suzie, who made the below. Thanks Aunt Suzie!

Happy 5th Birthday sweet boy! We've enjoyed every minute of the past 5 years and love you so much!
